    How much do article directories make? I know it depends on the site yet I am curious if an article directory is worth creating and marketing in terms of revenue.

    What do you actually mean by an article directory?
    The easy solution is to install a WordPress blogging engine and start writing articles as blog posts. And all the permalinks of those entries may be marketed through social bookmarkings like Stumbleupon, Digg etc.

    For one, ezine articles must make 6 figures per month just off adsense. I think they have other means of generating revenue like their info products etc.

    To answer your question - $100k+

    For example:
    A keyword has 200 searches monthly. You optimize it by using EzineArticles and grab top spot at Google. The article gets at least 200 visitors monthly.
