Directory Submission helps SEO and theres no "limit" of how much submission you can do. More equals the better.
Directory submission has no limit, you can do lots of submission, Only around 10% submissions get approved in web directories. It builds your website's back links. More back links, more traffic.
I don't actually think they have any benefit anymore - just a help in early days discovery - after that whats the benefit - I don't see it being worth it - just an easy way for seo's to get a few months down time before the client asks them to do some actual real linkbuilding.
Well, directories are out, at least mass submission. Only worth posting to high pr and that is usually paid listings. Use other web 2.0 sites to create quality content that will link to your page... Also use social bookmarking, as that increases popularity and traffic to your site.
It will give benefit 2 u if u can submit sites in Good directory submission sites PR sites like PR 1,2,3,4 and so on..
Thanks for sharing. Directory submission is best way to increase traffic in your website. Submit 50-100 directory and get great result.
Yeah I only ask because I'm skeptical. With sites offering you xxx,xxx submissions or 3,000 "high quality" back links for $10, It begs the question: Is it really doing any good? How do you gauge it? Are they even being truthful with their numbers? Are they all directories or just sites? Does google even crawl overflowing directories?
I daily submit directory on my site 20 to 30, so i am getting benefit from directory because my back link increasing day by day and website going towards the google first page. so you must submit 20 directory daily and one month work on ur site. thanks
there's not an specific number, may be just a couple of high rank directories and keyword related with your theme could be enough or in the other hand, between 50..100 any-directory could give you results too
Well As mcuh as i know that directory cannot effect so much for soe .......directory submission will help when it is being done in High PR site. or in bulk. than it will help in increasing the PR of our site............
Why is that? Could you expand a bit? In my experience, most of the directories that have PR 5 or better have fake PR. Telling someone to only list in a high PR directory is a recipe for disaster IMO. A lot of those High PR directories have no PR and or did not even exist a month prior. You should really be looking at a whole host of factors when deciding what directories to list in. How long they have been around, relative to that PR is something I would really strongly suggest people take a good hard long look at. It's pretty easy to determine how long a directory has been around. A simply google search, use of wayback machine (internet archive) and whois are helpful ways of deducing age.
