Those were rather pills...and limit on smoking. I was very restrictive with that
So it was rather success - not a cost.

Forgot to mentioned some other costs:

    - I'm not reading books anymore and I used to read a lot once :(
    - not watching movies (not a big lost as most of movies are so stupid now)
    - not playing guitar so often as I used too...

Well, I forgot to mention the other costs - like having to sleep in the dog box when I finish 2 o'clock in the morning! And yes, the guilty feeling when spending more time with the pc than with the wife and kids!

Creating my site cost me about $1500,- ( incl. Design/Mods/script/domain/hosting etc. etc.)
Promotion is going above $5000,- in the past 3 months now.

You spend what you want to earn. People need to learn this, then questions like "why dont i make as much as him, why dont i get any submissions" would stop occuring.

Before I had directory or any other wbe site I invested in my BRAIN.
And this is always what I suggest - especially for youmg people.

Once I could build any template, any code I thought could be useful I started with it.
So I spent $25 for the script, $9 for domain, $10 for host.
Then invested every 10% of what I earned from it.
Same what I always do with shares.

Some may say: not so much.
I would say: it depends of how much you earned :)

Good advice, I did the same. Started learning html when I was 11 and at the age 12 started trying to build websites. I have a graphic design degree and all those things pay off everyday.
