Thanks! Some of the things I've learned along the way, I've learned from reading your posts! I don't always do white hat things -- it's just that white hat things are the only ones that ever work for me. Every black hat thing I've tried seems to have had little or no effect -- or a negative effect. No doubt! I could get a book written if I could do that. The trouble is -- I'm not sure that I could do that! Thanks! This was 27 months in the making. But just wait until next month.
Well the month for April is soon wrapping up along with this poll that will be closing on April 30th. It is interesting to note that currently it would appear that over 50% of people here at DP earn less than $300 a month from adense. Yet it is also interesting to note that just over 20% of people earn from $300 - $1000 which I would have thought would have been a lot more prominent category with there being many webmasters here that are fairly experienced yet not making a living from our online activities. What was really impressive in this whole poll is just how many people are "probably" making a living off the internet with over 25% of people who participated in this poll earned over $1000 a month, over a third of which earn over $5000 a month, which is quite a feat considering we are only talking about adsense earnings!
The increments in the survey are unequal. Had the income "slices" be the same size, I believe one would see a continuous decrease, and no "dip" in the middle of the graph.
March 06 - $1660 April 06 - On pace for $2200 My highest month ever was in Oct 05 when I made $12,000. I got tons of traffic from a few major Yahoo News and PC World articles. I wish I could get that every month! Ethan
This is something that I think I will implement next time I run this poll - it might have more interesting results, especially at the lower levels.
Nice to know that, it makes me feel better. Although my pattern is more like "two steps forward, 1.99 steps back."
