I selected the poll option and the number of options I wanted in the poll but it just posted the thread straight away...

That thread you directed me to isn't quite what I'm after I really like looking at the poll graphically and lots more people vote than they post and you want as many people as possible so you can see a good distribution if you know what I mean.
