    Nothing.

I host an A Store on two of my sites, and know the readers enough to know that in at least four instances, they've gone back to purchase something I've recommended- but not during the same session (e.g. my cookies expired).

Would love to hear how you guys are making it work, though.

Occassionally I make a sale, but I'm not in the US, so I opt for the gift certificate payment cos I didn't want to get slugged the $15 check fee (but they may have changed that now?).
Here's my massive stats since Jan.
43 sales, total sales $692.04, my cut $38.21

I use Amazon Associate combined with Associate O Matic (you can google it) which uses Amazon's web services.

Not enough to pay the mortgage, but enough to cover all the other bills each month. Amazon is the best.

    thanks,

cloud420, your site looks good from design and content. As your PR states your site should producing good volume of free searches? and from that point $350, is it justifiable in 3 months? If you don't mind can you share your stats - no of free searches, Visit-to-sale ratio?

Thanks, yeah my site is ranked PR4 and I haven't been focusing on SEO until I have joined this forum. Assuming that my stat counter is correct, I get about an average of 5 new visitors a day, but most of them never come back which is why I am constantly improving my site.

My goal of my website is to educate all consumers on only the best gadgets out there period. My site should be their first source for any electronics they buy because I research everything (technology is my passion). I probably have about 4 loyal customers that give me a little bit of sales every now and then. I read all reviews from all the popular magazines and websites every month so I am always up to date faster than any other website or magazine out there. I remove gadgets off my list once they come out of date. I wouldn't have it any other way other than only the best.

I have a lot of content and I update it everyday which is probably one of the reason I am rank so high for a site that doesn't get heavy traffic. I rather have more dedicated consumers than making more revenue because it would make me happy knowing that all my efforts are not going to waste.
