How much did you DP'ers spend in Electronics last year (2007)?

I posted this on Agoraquest.com a few weeks ago and wanted to see what fellow DP'ers spend on Electronics last year.

I spent about $4,000 last year. Some people in the poll spent over 10,000 last year.

I dont even think I could track all of my electronic purchases throughout a year. It seems as if almost every week im going to Best Buy, or Microcenter and leaving with something that needs to be plugged in. Not to mention, I have an IT company, so I'm constantly spending money there...Ive never actually tried to think about how much money I spend on electronics...a disgusting amount.

haha, but they are oh so fun, I am 26 and I still open things sitting at the stoplights when leaving the store.

 

Not much just bought a Plasma TV 2200$ the only electrical thing i bought last year

 

I don't think I really bought anything this last year. Due to prices skyrocketing I just decided to try and save money. I'd say last year was pretty good to me as I wasn't struggling as bad as some Americans were.

 

I just bought a printer this year ....40$

 

Easily well over 10k:

50" TV
27" TV
2 computers
3 monitors (30" and 2 x 22")
Wii
PS3
SLR camera
Video camera
2 cell phones

Lots of accesories for the TV,computers,Wii and PS3 including:

Logitech G15 keyboard
Logitech G7 mouse
Fingerprint scanner
Bamboo tablet (3 - one for each kid)
$220.00 monster powerbar for the TV
High def Shaw box

Lots of other stuff I can't even recall, but my wife found a box with FutureShop receipts from the last year and there were 187 of them.

 

I spent around $5000

 

I bought only a 80MB iPod - I spent around $450 for it.

 

MB -> GB? lol

 

I bought ten dollar earbuds sometime last year. :]

 

With your tax refund checks and Tax check coming in May. I'm sure people will buy more electronics. The questions is how much or will people use it to pay their bills and credit card debit.

Knowing me I will probably go to Best Buy and buy some more electronics. You can't have too much.

I spent around $400 for my LCD monitor because my old CRT finally broke down.

 

I spent $1500 for my pc and cellphone last year. Hmm, I think that's all the electronics I bought last year.

 

I bought an Xbox 360 and a new laptop. In total, probably around $1500 CAD.

 

Hmmm.. only my new computer and a few small things. $3000 AUD tops.

well, i spent in excess of 1,00,000 euros

 

We spent less than 1.5k bucks, I guess.

 

didnt buy any new thing last year but i'm planning to buy new laptop this month.
