    I signed up with Adsense when I was using a free domain (.tk ) and it got less than 20-30 Uniques a day from Link exchange and I earned around $10 a month lol...at that time i was quite happy with that too....

    if your site already established then you can earn a good amount from first month. but if website is very new then income will gradually increase, but for that you need proper search engine optimization. i earned $22.17 from a totally new website from 15,134 impressions for the first full month.

    about $40...was a long time ago, usually new websites that implement adsense right away get less than $10, which is fine. Just add more content, get more traffic, and it is bound to go up :)
