I saw a remark on CNET which describes it nicely, "Cuil launched in a blaze of glory and went down in a ball of flames." But no matter how bad the publicity, there is no way cuil will be sold for less than a thousand dollar.
Anybody who call themselves 'cool', pretty much isn't. http://www.google.com/trends?q=cuil+&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all&sort=0 I do think they are worth more than $1000 though
Oh wait..you forgot the popular EstiBot appraisal at $5,800 for the domain, and $980,000 valuation considering the traffic. lol..I dunno, it looks kind of cool for a search engine but I think they are a little late in the game myself.
Have any start-up search engines come even close to yahoo, msn, or google? Nope and neither will Cuil, at least not anytime soon.
