Like the title says, I'm wondering how much I could make with an image like what I made a few days ago for one of my sites. It's just a little cartoon character/mascot that I wanted to use. Deviantart Link I'm not sure what the market for these is like, and I'm not even sure if what I made was very good at all. Please give me any information, but keep the criticism to a minimum please.
Custom ones? I paid $70 for mine while SOSFactory charges $250/pop (and they get customers, and loads of them too). All depends on how well you do them and how well you market yourself
Hey, I visit TUK everyday! Thanks for the information guys. Could one of you say about how much my work would be worth from looking at the one I already created? I know I can't sell it for anywhere near $50 but I also think it's probably worth more than $5 just from a time standpoint. Thanks again.
Glad to see a reader At the moment, I'm thinking maybe $30 ish... depending on your buyers of course. It is a hard market to break into, as there is a lot of quality available at affordable prices... improve your quality and you'll be able to charge much, much more
Thanks for the information. I was thinking that I could probably get around $20 for something like this, and I really enjoy doing them so I have no problem doing it for less if that means getting a portfolio of them out of the way.
I think you could intigrate it for someone's logo. Make it like a mascor or something for website. They could pay $20 + but you might have to polish it up.
