I currently have a website bringing in about $15/day using google adsense. How many months of income do you take into consideration when you want to sell your website?

normally if the site is good and more than a blog 10 months forward revenue counts.it also depends on the niche and the type of site. Can you disclose it?i can then tell you how much it would go for approximately.

Twisted , there are many factors that affect the sale price of a site. First of all it depends what kind of site it is , if it is a proxy , the revenue its not constant hence it might sell for 3 months (maximum 6 months).

If it is a content site which receives organic traffic from SE's then it might reach till 24x

    Thanks

Selling a website is like selling any other business, you need ot have a solid profit foundation and be able to provide the documentation to prove it. As a buyer I would be looking for the longevity and future potential. With that being said I would like to see atleast the last 24 months of gross revenue, promotion cost, hosting fees and any other data available. Not to mention the promotion model performance evaluations.
