I have a site, http://www.pcfastlane.com/, that I used to spend a lot of time with. At its peak, it received around 1000 visitors a day and I was getting products for free from companies to review. The site has also been on the homepage of Digg.com a few times, but is now banned. Most of the site's content is unique. It is PR 4 with predicted PR 6. The site is almost a year old. It has some good, quality backlinks from places including USA Today and several computer part companies. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to maintain the site so its traffic has dropped to around 100 visitors a day. How much could I reasonably expect to sell this site for? How much more would it be worth if I got traffic up to 500 unique visitors a day and PR 6? Thanks for the help.
Since you’ve let it flop for a bit, it won’t be worth as much as you could have gotten for it. There is certainly potential tho and I can see it selling for around 400$. Im sure however, back when you where getting around 1000 uniques a day and with some adsense optimizing, it would have sold for about 700-800.
Optimize it for AdSense, let it run for about week. Then auction it off with the minimum offer being the expected revenue for 10 months or so.
Hmmm... No earnings... little traffic.... decent site/design. Best thing you have going for the site is the content... It appears you have lots of original content. That might push the value over $1000 for some buyers... Good luck!
Optimistic approach imo. You should have sold it when you were getting 1k uniques per day. Bad adsense placement wouldn't matter.
