I was just wanting some opinions on how much I could sell a 468x60 ad spot on the top of my website. The ad would be on every single page of my website, which is 40,000+ pages, as well as over 20,000 pages indexed on yahoo and google. My site is PR4, anywhere between 2,000 and 5,000 uniques a day, and anywhere from 75,000 to 100,000 total page views a day. My site is: geek4ums.com Would like estimates please. Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. Thanks for any help you can give.
What is the subject matter of your site and the demographics of your visitors as these are two key elements. Financial services and gambling with appropriate visitors will demand much higher rates than a site on agriculture with poor demographics.
General discussion, entertainment, web design/development...the forum is about a lot of different things really. Members age from anywhere from 13 to 50.

Well I've tried that site before. Im not asking about links though. I wanted estimates on how much a 468x60 banner on the top of my site, on every single page, sitewide, would be.
If it is general discussion you most certainly will get more income by selling relevant ads for the specific topic areas than one link site wide. Whilst we dont advertise on sites at the moment, we would only be mainly interested in adverts to be placed in areas of high concentration of business owners and so would pay more for this than we would for the section on cars where as a car accessory business would be the reverse
So would a banner ad at the top of my site sell for more than a banner ad at the bottom of my site? Any estimate on how much?
How much do you earn from adsense banner on that place? double that and test if someone is going to pay that much.
