I would like to know how much cost we need to spend on any keywords and when we should exact, phrase search types, in Adwords Share your thoughts
Hi, Fundamental of Search is Experimental in nature. There is no right or wrong way of managing the campaign, as far as you are achieving the objectives and ROI's. In highly competitive industry and related it's related terms like web designing chennai etc. I would suggest the following strategy 1. Set a daily budget for next 2 days. 2. Set a campaign with only 5-10 keywords which you think will prompt for leads 3. Set half the bid price as Google keyword tool suggest 4. Make campaign live, observe where your ads are ranking on first day. 5. Increase the bid price by 30% and note your rankings and statistics. In case your daily budget gets consumed in the middle of the day or early morning only. Reset the campaign timings to start from 9:00 am till 6:00 pm Let me know if it helps... All depends on your budget. How much are you will to spend for each click? Broad = You will get tons of impressions. Phrase = Impressions will reduce but your conversions will start going up. Broad = Impressions will drop a lot but you will see a gain of conversions. Again all these depends on your budget, keywords and ads. Its all about relevancy.
There is no maximum amount you can spend. just analyze your keywords and optimize it for the better RoI.
Keywords are all different in cost - so the amount you should spend on any one keyword will depend upon many things including your daily budget and your target audience. For instance are you trying to sell or are you just using Adwords for lead generation? All these things have to be taken into consideration before you can decide how much to spend on your keyword advertising. The best way is to experiment, try testing out different keyword maximums as well as different adverts and keyword phrases themselves. Start with a low budget and a fairly small cost per keyword and then see where this gets you. You can slowly ramp things up. By starting small you will be in more control of your advertising and you can test and tweak costs and budgets until you are happy with your results. Hope this helps Ruthie
