How much can you make from a Facebook app?

    I've got a few ideas for facebook apps that I may have developed, but first I'm wondering what the potential revenue is. I understand that I will never create the "SuperWall" or something similar, but I think I could lock in an easy 10,000-20,000 daily active users. What kind of profits could this generate?

    Does Facebook do CPM ads or just PTC?

    anybody know anything about this stuff?

    i was talking to some guy before he said he makes a couple of dollars a day through ads on the applications. So i guess if you got pretty big you could make some cash :D

    you know any specific numbers?

    I'm thinking I could make more than that from CPM ads. If I got $1 for every 1000 impressions and had 10,000-20,000 daily active users, wouldn't that equate to $10-$20/day?

    Ultimately there is no limit that you can be making on facebook if you are good at both viral marketing (to get the users) and negotiating your contracts with advertisers.

    I am a developer. When I first noticed this thread I thought it was for the development of a Facebook app. I have not done a lot of work with Facebook apps but am registered as a developer for that platform.

    I am wondering how much you expect to pay for a Facebook app?

    Take a look at the SitePoint and Mashable marketplaces. I've seen Facebook apps for sale on there, so you could get an idea of how much revenue they were bringing in.
