welcome to dp eliasche well you need to optimize your pages to get maximum ctr (click through rate). So when that CTR is around 2% (this number is different on each page, so i can't give a good estimation here) you will have 2,000,000 / 100 * 2 = 40,000 clicks a month. depending on your site's topic, the revenue of a click can differ from $0.01 to $10, but lets take $0.10), that's 40,000 * $0.10 = $4,000 a month and that's really a lot!!
How many page views does it recieve? Don't confuse 'hits' for 'page views' or 'visitors'. On the very lower end you could assume $2 for every 1,000 page views. Estimating really isn't worth it - just put AdSense on as soon as you are able and see what happens. Test various placements, try making the border on the adverts the same colour as your websites background colour.. etc. Have a look in the AdSense Placement section on this forum for tips on this, as it increases your click-through rate on the adverts. There are many ways to target the ads, through html editing but the easiest one is select a site of which you like the ads most and then type that address in to that box when you enter to adsense account and then paste that code so the ads will be displayed from that site and you will be ahppy with it and by the time you can also learn the techniques of how to target by other methods. Joshman you are confusing visitors with hits. Every site will have more hits then page views. You could always go with an impression based advertising service eliasche. Why not find out what imageshack.us use? They seem to of been in the image hosting business for a long time - whatever they use for advertising must be making them money. Just because adverts are general it doesn't mean people won't click them. Try a leaderboard above the hosted images so that the leaderboard is in the middle of the page, and they have to scroll down a little to see the full image. Or you could just sell the site to someone in here who knows how to monetize it - you might make a lot on the sale. There are plenty of options! Pete
I suppose to CPM ads like Casale Media , Tribal Fusion , CPX Interactive and lot more ! They pay you better for the Service based site. If you're display adsense , They will show your compettitive ads thats service file storage like you , which not help you but harming your site.
