With affiliates, adsense etc? I have been selling products I make ecommerce, for 4 years and I am thinking of making a push towards selling ads and pushing other business products instead. What is the potential and where is a good place to start learning?
I just blogged about Jeremy Palmer who made $1.3 Million last year doing affiliate marketing. Of course most people wont make that much, but he's showing people exactly how he did it on Tues. The free video really shows quite a bit about how he does it too.
All I know is selling ads pays well for certain traffic through Adsense and Yahoo! If your traffic is the buying kind, you are going to make money with contextual ads. Plus, it doesn't take much effort to find out for yourself. Just apply and place their code on your web pages. Plus, there are tons of people who do it so you don't have to worry about getting questions answered or reinventing the wheel.
The amount a person can make is $0+ In other words the amount you make depends on how much effort you put into it, how much time you put into it and the approach you take.
I can't make much, around $2 / mo. In my country (Bulgarian) its good earnings for a 16 year old. I would like to make thousands like John Chow or Joel Comm, but I just can't.
You can make $10k/day or even more, but for that you will need to spend some years working hard everyday 14 hours/day. And use your brain a lot.
It ultimately depends on how much targeted traffic your sites get and the niche your site is in. Some of my entertainment sites have made $20/day with adsense. But, if your niche is like refinance or mortgage, you're obviously going to be making a lot more for adsense clicks. But, as I mentioned, it all depends on traffic and the quality of that traffic to really give an estimate. Since you sell signs, have you tried using the google keyword tool to see how much related keywords will pay if you decide to go the adsense route? That's what I always do when setting up a new niche. Good luck.
It depends on your goal, your plan and the programs or methods you use. I earn less than $20 in the first month but i happy.
Some people make it with working only 30 minutes a day and don't use their brain a lot. Perfect examples are John Chow, founders of Google, founders of Yahoo and Bill Gates. They don't do much now, but they worked hard in the beginning.
Well I'm a bit biased since I'm an affiliate manager. But really the sky is the limit as someone has already pointed out.
