How much can I charge for banner spots?

I have a forum that gets 5,000 page views a day.

The forum is www.thecomputerforums.co.uk

What would be a fair eCPM to charge for a site like this.

I intend on offering the top and bottom banner spots in the same deal.

Most of the banners i have purchased were a by the month deal not cpm. But if I were you I would post your ad in the buy sell and trade forum and see what the highest offer is.

 

Yeah sure you pay per month, but the seller wound base that monthly price on eCPM.

i'd suggest posting in the B/S/T forum with an auction style listing and see how high people will go.

 

I think for your niche anywhere between $2-$3/eCPM is a fair price.
