Alright, what the hell. A couple of my brews:

Wow it's the other way around for me. I broke down and had some beer a few weeks ago, the first one was so nasty I almost puked. By the time I choked down 1/2 of the first one though it started tasting better.

I still regret that night :( I lasted so long, but my strength has returned and knowing how nasty that first part of that beer tasted will help greatly at staying away from that crap.

I've never really enjoyed the taste of any sort of alcohol, but I drink a fair amount of a weekend. I think the fact that it tastes so nasty helps me to limit my drinking. I'll stop as soon as it has the desired effect :)

Beer always tastes better the more you have :)

If it's a carona it actually tastes good the very first sip on a crazy hot sunny day while you mow the lawn or are working out side.

The odd beer here or there is what I drink hence why 6 would be enough to enjoy a nice little buzz.

That's a good thing, I used to 'like' the taste of it. Beer, Brandy, Whiskey, Vodka, Tequilla, Gin, damn near anything under the sun ;)..

Spirits are pure evil. I used to drink a lot of scotch in high school. Here in the UK most teenager like to spend their Friday and Saturday nights sitting at bus shelters and kids playgrounds knocking back whatever booze they can steal from their parents' supplies. I lost any love for spirits after finishing a bottle of High Commissioner scotch on a bus at the age of 15 and puking it all back up as soon as I stepped off. Nasty, nasty stuff.

Hangovers alone are pretty much enough of a reason why I could never be an alcoholic. The shittiest thing about alcoholics is that they use the substance to escape reality or forget about problems.

My ex's dad is an alcoholic the guy is fucked right up makes like 400,000$ a year but still the hydro manages to get cut due to unpaid bills. He would come home and beat his sons at all hours of the night.

The man could fly off the handle at any point. I was once at a bar with her and her dad and I arm wrestled him. I ended up beating him and after that the bartender told me to let him win because you never know when he might fly off the handle.

I smoke weed but have never used it for an escape or to deal with problems. I find it to be a recreational drug and barely smoke it these days pretty much down to a spliff before bed here and there.

None the less I could never be an alcoholic.

I know alot of people who have said just that and become one, including myself. It's one of those things the least likely to often is who becomes it..
