Hey, I am planning on starting a proxy site. How much bandwidth would I need to start off with? Also, how much would I need if I were to have atleast 1000 to 5000 unique visitors a day?? Thanks In Advance!
makes a lot fo money, especially with adsense, (i have not had a proxy site), but seeing everyone else jump on the proxy train and create proxy sites, and making money, i wanted to try it too.
It depends on the number of page views not unique visitors since you might get 1 visitor that browses 1000 pages and 1 visitor that browses 1 page - both a re 1 visitor but the first one will use much more bandwidth IT also depends if you apply bandwidth limiting mods or leaving the script working with default set up
I started out with one of my proxy sites using Tec Entrances Proxy A hosting plan which is 25 gigs, but mine the first month almost took it all up without much advertising. My other proxy uses almost 200 gigs. I will prob upgrade my account with tech entrance and move my other site to him as well when my other hosting expires. Good Luck Jason
