My site http://www.fellowindian.com/ is getting around 3500 UV per day... my site don't host any files or images... all are text... but my site is consuming 800MB bandwidth per day... i don't know how... do it is normal for site with 3500 UV per day ? My site is a wordpress site...
Do you have any stats software? If your host provides awstats etc. then this will show you which file types, and files are using the most bandwidth. It sounds like a lot to use for your traffic but without looking at the stats you have no way of knowing if it's correct.
here are some data from awstatus 1. Not viewed traffic - 2.90 GB and viewed traffic - 6.54 GB I don't know how not viewed traffic consumes such huge bandwidth... 2. File details... CSS file - 630MB HTML file - 4.5GB is this normal ??
The css/html ratio seems normal, as for the not viewed traffic, it depends if any spiders are using lots of bandwidth. Look under 'Robots/Spiders visitors' and it will show the bandwidth usage for the spiders.
