For any of your sites, how much money (Gross profit) are you making per unique visitor? Count all of your revenue sources (Adsense, all affiliate programs, product sales, etc), subtract your costs, and divide by the number of unique visitors within a specific time period (like a month). I'm currently making 14 cents per visitor. I had 744 unique visitors this month for one of my new sites. Made $70 with Adsense Made $50 with an affiliate program. Subtracting costs, I'm making around 13 cents per unique visitor. Would you consider this high, average or low? What about you?
It all depends. At one point I had 100,000 visitors per day, and was making around $200-$300 off 100K. With my current project I have maybe 100 visitors, but average $1 per visitor. There was time in the middle where I only did consulting at an hourly rate.
Been lurking for a while now. Decided to register finally. I had question, what type of site do you run to get $70 with that on adsense. I've had 3k unique this month and my grand total is $4.
I'm running a Health site, a topic in alternative medicine. My average pay per click is 63 cents. It's apparent most of my visitors are looking to buy a product even though my site is mostly content/articles. The queries that often used to search for my site include various product names related to my niche.
