I know a lot people have posted fairly similar threads, but it's not really helpful without a timeline. I'm currently new (well so and so). I've been studying IM and SEO and all that stuff for months and I believe I'm ready to launch. How fast did you start earning significant money with adsense? And did anything specific happen that (specially) improved your adsense income? I mean did you learn something new, apply any new methods and so and so. I'm personally still fighting with getting my adsense account approved. Damn them, it's taking them longer than the promised week to reply, but oh well. What I'm looking for is something specific like. Month 1 (of website(s)) launch - X income and then around when did you start progressing and to which stages then the next month might be like Month 4 - so and so much, introduced THIS or THAT type or SEO or marketing. Have I made myself sufficiently clear? I'm looking for your progress report. Thanks for the hopefully incoming replies!
i am waiting like you. plz someone specialist in seo and adsense come forward to answer this question.
I call specialist friend seo. He say u write about passion. Good thing come after. I not brag but I make 12$ month and know I make top best publisher in all of google
Wait, what?! Let me get this right, you make $12 a month from Adsense and you think you're the highest Adsense earner? AHAHAHAHAHAHA
rakinginrupee what exactly are you saying? "He say u write about passion" ? $12/month really isn't a lot. Money is money, but if you just make a buck a day, you'll make x2.5 as much as you do.
I'd say it took me 2 years before earning really interesting money. But I didn't take it seriously enough, I was doing websites on the side for fun and still doing freelance work. I wrote some adsense beginners tips, read them in my sig. If I had started with this mindset I wouldn't have "wasted" 2 years.. but I am sure it takes at least 6 months to one year even with this mindset when you start from scratch, you need time to build your web properties.
senserely - thanks for answering. do you mind defining really interesting money? I saw in another post that your numbers are quite impressive. +$8000/month if I am right? If you care to answer some more questions I would also like to know what level of education you have and if you're better off now than with what you did before?
interesting money I set it at the minimum wage job in european country, I guess it is about $1000-1500. interesting means you can live on it as millions do. The real good money (triple the interesting money) has only happened to me the first time in 2008 for about 6 months before my main site has been banned from google search. Then I was back at interesting money only, and it took more than 6 months to build several sites so that in the future if one of them goes down for any reason I won't be left with nearly nothing. So in spring 2009 it started again to be good money, until near the end of 2009 where I hit the jackpot with file search engines I made with the google API. Then with some more sites coded so with minimum to no maintenance, it was incredible money for over 6 months (my personal record is now over $33,000 in a month only for adsense) and after adsense decided to clean up the mess of file search engines at the end of spring 2010 (you can read threads by other webmasters about that event on DP) I haven't been back to the good money level, I stay within good and incredible money, I don't know how to call it, but it is still over $10,000 a month. I know it can go down again anytime, but I am also working on new sites so hopefully I can go on like this or a little lower for more months, especially since the good months are coming anyway. Summer months are usually low every years, for many webmasters, but the end of year are very good. As for my level of education it's a master degree, after uni i worked in a company for a year then I quit and did freelance work for a few years then I worked only for myself, no boss no customers, that's much much better for my stress level Hope this helps although I am only talking about my experience, no tips here except maybe the fact not to put all your eggs in the same basket, but we should all know that by now
That's phenomenal Senserely- I did a double take reading those numbers, and certainly very inspiring. Good work. OP I'm just starting now- really just beginning. More than aim for a certain income by a certain time, I think i will just aim to reach the income. I would like to set my first proper milestone as being $100 /month, but that will be from all sources (though I know this is about adsense only). But I think the logical first ministep would be $10. And Xmas is coming so that is good motivation in my eyes to get something up and running if possible.
Hi All, The only thing i would say is don't give up because success might just be a day away. For two years i have been working hard to understand the real way to SEO my sites. But finally i started following the white hat methods and i saw the difference. Just about 4 months back, i was making like $100 in 4 months. But now, i am making $6 per day! I had set a goal to reach $1 per day. Then once i reached it, i set goal to reach $5 per day. Now i have set goal to reach $10 per day and later i would keep $100 per day as my goal. Trust me guys, hard work pays, but only hard work with honesty. So stick to white hat methods to have success in long run. I will post back when i reach my next goal which i expect by next month. Hope this experience of mine helps the new comers who seemed to be just like how i felt when i was new!
Thanks for the extra input mirisaamali, I like reading lots of stories of how it's working for people. I'm spending too much time reading these forums than actually doing right now- that should wear off though in time I expect. In retrospect to my post before yours, I will do what you say and start even smaller- 1$ a day. But first I need to find an area to exploit and make a domain, which is not as simple as I thought it would be. Thanks
I can remember my first month from adsense is $5 while i spend 1 hour/day but next year it is $100/month for 2-3hours/day and now it is $100/month for less than 1hour/day . I is hard for those who have to work full time outside and back home to write articles on internet.
Proper planning and a smart campaign in a good niche can start making 2-3 dollars a day from the fourth month.
