How much are good single word domain names worth?

On sedo yesterday, I saw the domain name "dinosaurs.com" for sale. Also lots of other really good, 1 word .com names. What is the going rate for something like that? Where type in traffic is a possibility?

Single word domains are brilliant for branding, and Dinosaur.com is worth a bloody fortune I would suggest. Because it is a generic word, unlike say, 'antiques', yet dinosaur could be an antique site, it could be BIG, it could be WISE, it could be CUTE, it is a generic word with so many possibilities, I am surprised it is being auctioned..

A company I am 'involved' with ;) own the domain www.wales.info this is worth a lot of money on its own, regardless of the plans for it. it is not running yet, as the site has been 12 months in development of the mapping facility.

dinosaurs.com has no records in the Waybackmachine. That's surprising, isn't it? You would have thought a site like that would have a history. ;)
