To increase traffics are already stated above by Alfonso_Montenegro and you can also apply some tips on the Internet. I am not a SEO expert so can't tell..

What i know is, apply those tips with your blog, and also depends on how long you are blogging. If your blogs are new, then you need to create more contents to get more traffics while building backlinks.

 

Choose a highest paying niche and keyword

like forex trading, and insurance. these are the highest paying keywords but there is too much competetion at Google for these keywords u can not get much Search engine traffic through it you have to doo a lot of promotion for your blog or site if u want to get listed top at google using these keywords..

investment is the key but never buy traffic if you are using adsense on the site. its good if its adsense safe traffic but buying traffic is against there tos you can advertise website where you want there are many advertiser companies like adwords bidvertiser and many more you can google them..

and my advice is that...you are getting good $ per click 0.22$ per click is great itx not that low man...

in my opinion you just have to promote your blog via search engine optimization or buy some backlinks or goo fetch some good seo services in the services section at dp..

0.22 isnt as low as some areas, i would suggest working on building traffic to the site.

I started out using Adsense to monetise lots of sites - and some made more than $1 a click.
But the problem is Google are cleverer than most of us and if you get on their radar making good money for clicks one day.
Guess what, they magically seem to 'correct' things so the next day clicks can go below 5cents each - for same site and same traffic.
So as others have already said - 22cents isn't too bad, but probably won't ever make you rich.

If you know how to get traffic then you might find it more rewarding to test out affiliate offers to try to find ones that convert well - that should bring you in more than Adsense. Then you could create you own products to sell instead of affiliate ones.
It is more work finding affiliate offers that convert for your traffic - but worth it as soon as you find your first good converting offer.
Just avoid using Adsense with other offers which is likely to instantly reduce your Adsense income to zero - especially if you use Analytics tracking.

 

My average CPC is just around $0.12 But sometimes I got click more than 1.5 $
