How much a wordpress coder does make in month ?

Hi guys I wanted to know how much money a wordpress coder can make in a month? If you are a wordpress coder kindly let us know what you are making and what are the strategies you use ?

 

its depend up on the skill and creative ability...

 

I usually do it on the side now but I can easily make enough to replace any part time job with only a certain degree of effort. heh.

 

but I want some figures.Say the person can code a wordpress theme and he can convert a PSD to a wordpress theme ?

 

These are your accurate ballpark figures

WordPress: $xxx
Joomla --> Advanced to Expert: $xxx to $x,xxx
Drupal --> Expert: $x,xxx

The easier platforms = More competition
The expert platforms = More $$$

 

I worked as an wordpress template coder for a months and sold about 10 templetes for about $20 each

 

It dependS on the work quality, some ppl sell in 100usd to 250$ and so on but some sells in 35$-100$. (Coded one)

 

10 templetes for about $20 each - can only imagine them for that price

 

I code wordpress theme for dp members here .
However I am not full time in coding .
For each theme I code, the rate is $30 .

 

Income depends on how much time you spend on creating these themes ! Usually you can get 40$-100$ per coded template ( which is quite low price, as you need to spend at least 5 hours to get a professional quality ) ..
There are tons of offers - just go and grab your money .. Coding WP themes is an easy job ( in case if you know PHP and CSS ) !

 

I think the coder should be versatile and open to code a general website too because you can't simply ignore people approaching you for a simple website design.

Does some people want to offer web hosting with her plans ?
Maybe it should be interesting to provide wordpress services + hosting.
