You can post your urls in your signature, it is very good for advertising too, ive had my forum in my signature for all of my posts and get quite good traffic.

Its hard to give the value coz the earning is depend on the type of site you running. I'm running money making forum and it is one of the hottest forum out there and at the peak time,i can earn around $2000/week. Yes it can be your full time job.

Have a unique idea, something that people want or can use, then you could easily be banking $1000's per month. Try tapping into a saturated niche, then you will struggle. Find a unique idea, and work hard on it. Money will soon flow in if you do it right.
I would first start by trying to make $100 a month. Once you are making that, I would think about $200 a month, then $400 a month, etc. (I think it is important to be realistic about your goals so they are "do-able", and so you don't get discouraged and give up). There will ALWAYS be Webmasters who make more money than you, but I think it is important to stay concentrated on what You have to do (and not lose your focus). Just my opinion.
Unfortunately that is true, if i earnt as much as some of them i wouldn't mind syaing and sharing some basic info but not specific obviously.
I agree but that doesn't mean you cannot find experienced webmasters here. remember, luck is another factor . However i agree that most of us here are struggling
Forget get rich quick schemes !! anything that says "Earn $$$ in 5 minutes " blah blah.. Ignore it. how to make money: 1). Find somthing you like and enjoy (computers,games,gambling,porn,Anime[whatever]) 2). Buy a domain & hosting 3). Start creating pages about anything you like about your topic.. Start organising it into sections and cataegories. 4). Build links to your site by social networking and directories/ articles etc 5). Get affiliated with various companys that you think suit your site 6). Become one of "thee sites to visit" on your subject 7). earn money.
more skill, more money will you get. Lots of experience, lots of study. Many useful things in this forum. Browse 'em...
