How much a month do you spend on links?

of course they're different things.. if you counted ppc my monthly costs would be significantly higher then 2000$ a month.

 

Okay, that clarifies, I just noticed some posters mentioning adwords so I thought they considering those link buying.

 

I don't really spend any money on links. I tried this once before and I didn't find any results worth paying for. There are other better ways to get them free.

 

Well I spend not a single dollar on links I got free links from free resources and I have more than 2000+ quality links.

 

My first site I spent sooo much time trying to get authentic links. hundreds of link exchanges, directories and I got sick and tired of it. Next, I make another website, its up for two weeks, make maybe 10 link exchanges, and BAM, over 2000+ links into the site. Don't know how or why but I really don't care. One thing is for sure, I am NEVER going to be spending so much time on link exchanges again.

 

huh? how did you manage to do that?

 

I can tell you that one of our portfolio companies had about 20,000 backlinks after it was only 3 weeks post-launch. And they bought "zero" links.

The key is having quality content that people want to link to.

 

For 20,000 backlinks in 3 weeks, you would need awesome, can't find anywhere else, content!

 

Well.. I guess it happens!

 

I spend about $350 per month on links getting about... $2500 back... Pretty good investment. I need to make more content than buying links because I rank pretty high on all my keywords... =)

 

Whatever it takes But so far, the maximum I have spent on links in one month is only $800

 

For launching my new Ask Directory i bought $1,500 on links in one month.

 

I think you must have spent this money in paid directories am I right?

 

I'm feeling the way to, all the money I spend on advertisement has not pay of.

 

Links purchase to increase google pr : around $100/month
Paid traffic via CPC : around $500/month
Still rising.

 

I dont spend anything on links. Infact, nobody needs to spend anything on links. You can achieve high rankings and traffic and also get good links with a little more hard work and persistence.

Maybe people looking for sudden boost in rankings and traffic look towards paid links.. ??

Really depends own your concept, I think it’s a good investment or else i wouldn’t be doing it. I must say the most expensive ones are the ones I already had the best return, higher than what I paid.

 

Do you people know of any sites which sell life times links or yearly links under $20. The site should be realted to Software Development, Web Design, Web Hosting or SEO. If you know then please help me.
