My online stores are very new so I have almost no advertising budget. I spend 20$ a day, 10$ for each website. I seem to be breaking even right now (i'm still in the sandbox so adwords is my only source of revenue.)
Ive never needed to advertise. I leave my site and never SEO them, but yet they get the hits I want .
When I actualy use AdWords, it's usually a max of $10.00 a day. If I ever find something that actually works, then it'll increase. Every time I tried, I never made more money back than I spent!
I spent $200/day for a while but at best broke even and at worst wasted a lot of money. I took down my ads for a review/education until I can find a way for them to earn a profit. I'm still not convinced that adwords beats outsourced SEO.
Adwords and SEO don't compete, they complement each other - 1) CPC is to be used to : - discover new converting keywords fast (you can then ask your SEO to optimise your site for these keywords) - increase revenue from high return keywords 2) SEO is to be used to : - Get as much traffic on you site as you can (focusing on converting keywords) If you use CPC & SEO cleverly, and combine them two, you can increase your return on investment significantly. Finally!! A smart response to the question that's been dogging me for months! Thank you! I have to say though, just to keep things complicated, that while it's true that you can't really do well with one and not the other, I see CPC more as a supplement than as a complement in that it shouldn't take too much of an investment to refine keywords that way, while the bulk of your investment goes to SEO. thanks for the insight. Truly valued.
i tried many compaigns i never get click from google adwords even i set 50 per click still i dont get clicks from.i dont know what i am doing wrong.
Past 48 hours; Zero Not in direct protest, but I've paused every group until: 1) Things stabilize. 2) The various keyword tools seem like they're talking to the same data. 3) I have some idea of what I'm dealing with again. I decided not to simply double/triple/quadruple most of my bids and see how it goes.
I'm spending around $10 a day currently. I tend to go for multiple terms at $0.05 a click rather than trying to compete on larger sums. Aaron
