AdWords disallows based on CTR, not impressions. If you can achieve a .5 CTR after 1000 or so impressions, Google won't slow/deactivate your ad. If your term only gets 5 impressions a day, it takes a while to get to that 1000. Ads not in top 10 receive fewer impressions. Typically, depending on the keyword, you can get top 10 for yout 5-6 cents if you are taregting specifc products. There's still competition - granular bidding is no secret, but it's much less intense. I'd rather have 10 impressions and 3 clicks on a very granular, product targeted keyterm than 1000 impression and 20 clicks on a broad term.
so many spending so much...... i wonder if you guys actually get alot of buyers this way?? or just browsers??? is an 80% turnover expected with your clicks from google and overture? Personally I think PPC with Yellowpages is better.
I am a top-tier AdWords spender, but I don't want to get into specific numbers. I couldn't spend as much as I do unless the ads were converting. I get good conversions because I optimize my campaigns so that specific ads and specific keywords lead to specific pages, etc. It's all about targeting the right potential customer and then driving them to where they want to be. Of course, it also depends alot on the market you're in. However, the most important things are to think like a customer, research a wide range of specific, targeted keywords, and point your ads to landing pages that are equally relevant to the user's query.
Im my opinion it leans closer to a creative media buy vs directional..... in comparison. but you are right. with anything optimization is the key to success. my concern is on those big keywords.... like mortgages. those rates don't justify the cost when you consider how many people are researching and not buying.
I only spend a max of $50 at the moment as I only have a couple of campaigns running. I know a signle person that spends roughly $180,000 on PPC advertising each month though!
I think there is a site that can cut a daily cost of your adwords by half check this out...[deleted spam]
Stop posting this kinda url with referral ... the site is useless .. And the estimation of adwords is not accurate ..
Hi, If I am targetting a long keyphrase with exact match at 5 cents, and a lot of people are bidding a one word keyphrase with broad match for > 5 cents, what are my chances of my ad showing up at all on the first page. regards Rohit
Hello, I didn't try Adward Because Keyboard rate High And for long run I will need high budget to keep going with adward. I did with 7Search and searchfeed Traffic goes better but not better for Sale Yet At the moment thinking about bulk mail or ezine newsletter to send my Ad, Anyone have experience with this?? Thanks
The amount of money is also dependent on the site's language, because non-English keywords are far less expensive. I spend about 4$ for German and almost twice as much for English, and I am using roughly the same, non-competitive keywords. Blo.
Currently, I spend about $10 for every $30 of profit. But it's an adult oriented site, so there is a lot of competition.
I used to have a 500 dollar cap on adwowrds, I dont pay for advertising anymore though, im high naturally.
