How much a custom coded directory worth?

    Just wondering if it is worth anything?

    does it contribute to the value of directory anymore?

    I own both HRWEBDIR.ORG and GoSubmit Directory both are built on custom coded scripts.

    Just not sure what many here think about this? Would like to hear your opinions.

    I guess if the person gets full-rights to the script used then it is worth something. Otherwise there are so many low-cost scripts that offer so much value I don't think there would be any additional value.

    Nowadays, IMHO, most of the value in any online business is in the business activity, rather than the technology
