How much a .com domain worth if .us is a big site?

    I'm trying to determine how much of the price to propose a foreign domain.com, let's call it xxxxxxx.com (7 char).

    It's on sale now, the same xxxxxx.us domain is a HUGE site, ranking about #500 in Alexa (you know this site rank #200, and Webhostingtalk.com rank about #2000).

    I know Alexa ranking is only one of many factors to determine the value of the domain, but based on my info above, how much would a .com worth give almost other extensions of the same are taken? Especially .us extreme high in traffic? Thanks for your 2 cents.
