Hi Guys, I think you would have understand my question from the thread title itself. If a blog's monthly income is $70 - $100 through Adsense only, then what would be its selling price ? Please, share your thoughts on this. Thanking You, Padalda
Do you mean that a blog with $100 monthly income can be sold at $600 only ? I don't think so. I totally disagree with you, mate.
I do not agree with the others here. Firstly, there are quite a few things you need to look at in establishing a price. Some things you need to look at: 1. The domain name itself, as well as pagerank of the domain. 2. Traffic - the type of traffic like type in, search engines, referral websites, etc. 3. Income (Take the average monthly income and times it with 10)- You will also need to look at how income is generated - membership fees, advertising revenue, affiliate programs, etc. 4. Then, you need to look at the content of the website. Is it unique articles, self-created videos, etc., etc. 5. A well branded website naturally increase the value of the website over and above the points above. All these factors contributes towards the value of a website - not just the income factor. Amongst website traders it would be only the income and traffic factors that matters, but an end-buyer who wants to make use of the website him/herself would pay much, much more than just a trader.
1. The domain has got PR2 in the recent PR update. 2. Traffic comes from search engine only. Especially, from Google only. 3. Income is generated through Adsense only for now. Other programs are not yet applied. 4. Content is unique and quality one. 5. Blog has good looks too. Now, can you judge the selling price of this type of blog ? Thanking You, Padalda
Hi Padalda Let's say your blog is established and gets constant traffic each month from Google, even after the Panda update. Also, let's assume your blog has a unique and attractive lay-out, with a lot of participation from users visiting the website. Let's also assume your website has a lot of backlinks from other websites referring to articles on your blog. Personally, for now, I would say that your blog could well be worth around mid to high $XXXX to an end user. This figure could be higher if you have unique videos, software, scripts, etc. you have designed for your site. If you want to sell it to traders or website flippers, you will get a lot less. If your website is still new, you could look around the high $XXX to low $XXXX mark. Buyers, especially end-buyers, want to buy established websites that generate traffic and income constantly.
But, the blog already earns $xxxx every month from Adsense even after Google's Panda & Penguin Updates.
