    It all depends on quality backlinks and unique and informative contents. It also depend upon the keyword which you choose for your website. If your everything is going on right way then you don't need any time to take place in google's first page. very soon your website shows in first page on google search result.

    post at least 5 articles per day, don't give backlink except your site has at least 3 months age, so your site get rank well in 3 months

    Nobody will tell you the exact amount of time it takes to achieve top search ranking. Rankings are not oranges, you never know how long it takes for them to grow.
    Also, forget about meta keywords, they're useless.
    All in all, the more natural your SEO looks, the faster you will rank higher on Google. If you will be getting too many links, or links from bad neighborhoods, Google will remain suspicious of your website longer.

    Depends on:- 1. Keyword Competition, 2. Rich Content with sufficient keyword density, 3. Quality backlinks (anchor text), 4. Keyword in domain or post name these are the few basic things one need to see and if taken care for this things a website can rank on 1st page within few days.

    I agree with many of the above it depends on the keywords, the competition, the onsite of the website, the content and more. If you do SEO correctly (white hat) or look into more grey hat areas, it can be done in 6 weeks but can be as long as 3 months depending on the keyword
