Hey there.. Here's what you can do: Keep socializing. Since your store is on social media, you have to get connected to your community. Update your social network sites frequently, in order to keep your customers informed about your new release products and the store activity. Advertise yourself, without being annoying. Post your website’s update with a shorter content on the social media, and give a short link directed to your page. Remember not to flood everyone’s timeline and bore them with your advertisement. Frequent advertisement such as two or three times a day will be better than doing it every 30 minutes. Share some info about your products, give some tips, and make your community happy by giving quizzes with prizes like free stuffs from your store or discount vouchers. This will give chance for them to visit your online store. Take advantage of free features. Apart from sharing words and taking feedback, try using free tools and features provided with the social media such as applications, plug-ins, sharing features, and any other add-ons which allows automatic update from your site to the social media. A couple of weeks ago I setup a new Twitter account and I used TwitterBot to get followers and schedule tweets. I set the tweets up to go to an optin page and I got lots of optins. What I like about this program is the fact that it will not only get you followers, but you can also unfollow people that don't follow you back. I went to Twellow and found a couple of people to follow in my niche and I just added their name to the add by user. This gave me a list of targeted followers to send my tweets too. Instead of paying a monthly fee to get the same service, I just purchased Twitterbot and it does what some companies charge you each month to perform.
You need to build relationships. Do plenty of retweeting, dm'ing, and replies. Let your followers know you're interested in what they have to say. And when appropriate, share what you have to offer with them. Listen to you gut, and don't over do it. Don't spam! Good luck
Lately I have seen that some twitter apps are offering followers by mutual following. I think most of them does not even read their timeline. So I suggest rather than increasing your followers, try to get your tweets retweeted by others. A site may help you in this which generates viral traffic from each retweet. Best way is to share helpful stuff, and then share your own stuff in a way that add value to people's lives. Don't spam and over self promot.
