Take a guess, post, and then go look see how many words Google will allow you to put in your title tag!
Very interesting, but a site with that many keywords is probably just spam and it would probably look pretty unprofessional. Thank you for sharing, can't wait to see what Yahoo and MSN do.
let's see il go for around the same figure as Badlands07 edit:just read your blog, interesting wont give it away
Yeah, I agree that even though you can, that does not mean that you should. I think I will stick with a lot less. Just my 2 cents...
Not sure about how many words Google read but it show title on serps only 66 characters, including spaces.
i think title length is not a problem to read for google but if you want it to be effective, it's better to use nearly 60 character
Actually, it's the other way around. The less characters you use, the more importance you are placing on the targeted keyword phrases.
Well so everybody thinks. But then again, everybody thinks google won't read 50 words..... this will be my next test, I think. Any ideas how to set this one up?
dcristo is right - if your site is a contender and has enough pagerank to get indexed frequently - you can sometimes jocky for position by dropping words from your title or moving your keywords to the beginning of the title.
You shouldn't be using 50 words, or anywhere near it for that matter. Having about 7-8 words in the page title would be ideal. The concept is similar to anchor text you are trying to target. The more words used in the anchor text, the less importance you are placing on each individual word.
