Wouldn't it be a bit less expensive to have one domain and create vHosts like ... "whatevercontent.domain.com, someothercontent.domain.com, somekickasscontent.domain.com ? Just a thought...
So the $398 is to buy shares in this concept? And the AS account would be owned by the concept developer? So there would be nothing to stop the shareholders from going into any of the sites and clicking the ads?Ha! Imagine having 1500 shareholders clicking on the ads each day .... Now, there's co-op advertising!
Holy Hell!!!!!! - How do you maintain them all. Do you hire someone to do it for you? Is this your fulltime job?
got around 25 sites so far running adsense, 1500 sites just sounds soo complex, hope your nameservers never go down!
I feel like crap when I see posts like these. I spent $250 to start my website with Network solutions and then when i wanted to change my domain name they wanted another $45. I said no way. I got one from namecheap for $8.88.
I have 6 websites with adsense all served from home by an overloaded PIII600 laptop because I'm such a cheapskate. Only one of my domains is paid for, the rest are dyndns.org freebies. It's also because I can I wonder if I can move them to a real server one day when my SEO takes off and earns me enough to cover server costs? I guess it's quite expensive when one of the sites is over 600Mb in size which pretty much ensures the budget plans are out.
You can get a fairly cheap and decent hosting plan for ~$5.00 a month. I believe the company I use has a plan that provides 2 gig of storage for that price and 30 gigs of bandwidth a month. Lots more piece of mind than running it off your laptop.
I have several domains but use just one host for those. Is it best to spread the sites over multipal hosts if they are related in theme or would you use for every domain a seperate host?
I use hostingzoom under their resellerzoom label. The basic plan is not really intended for reselling. I am not an affiliate or anything for them just a customer. I know others can recommend some other plans they have had luck with too. But you can go to resellerzoom.com for more information.
BTW, I currently have AS on 3 sites, and I'm making zilch, maybe a dollar a day. Vegas, here I don't come!
