One way: unique and quality content.
The other ones are only extra tools to support the way.

 

I have used pay-to-click sites to advertise, by visiting other websites to build up credits for my website to be viewed. That is the hard way. Social media and forums and ads work much better.

my own website indexer.This along with Social ADR ,Forums and Facebook is ok for starters.Just make sure the onsite SEO matches up.In Wordpress you can install a plug in to look after that.

There are many well established article directories that have been proven to get websites traffic. People search for articles in different categories and after reading the article they usually follow a link at the bottom of the article to your website.

 

There are so many ways to promoting a site. But what is important, is to find out where your target market is spending their time. That makes a big difference with your conversion rate. Also, remember to start building a list from day one.

First is that to have a site worth being promoted. Then, make sure your sites speed is better than competitors, make sure your URLs are friendly. Don't keyword stuff. Make sure you chose between 5 to 7 keywords for each page and use about 160 characters for your meta description. Don't put too much ads, specially above the fold. Have unique content and make sure others are not stealing it. Get involved with social networking sites, create a Facebook app if you can.
