I just start to work with ClickBank products, and I am wondering, how many visitors you need to make one sell? I know that it depent from how targeted the traffic is, how good the landing page is, and many other factors, what kind of niche you promote... but still I would like to know from more experienced people here....after how many visitor you make one sale? Regards, Zoreli
Usually the conversion rate is about 1:100, but everything depends on, as you as said, how targeted is the traffic.
So if someone use PPC and if he pay average 0.15$ per click...cost per sale will be 15$. Intersting...That mean that if someone promote the product with PPC only, it will be tight game, huh? It would be nice to hear more opinions and experiences however.... Regards, Zoreli
Yes, PPC is difficult and can be very competitive. I would suggest to read Adwords' Help Center and some ebooks, if you are new to Adwords.
yovishnurulez - if you find a great product and target it properly, you can get conversion rates as low as 1/25 clicks.
My opinion is that best tool for targeting traffic is PPC. So if I have only 5 sales after 500 clicks, I should look for another product. (hence the profit will be very small, due the big cost for PPC) Or I am wrong..??
zoreli Before moving onto another product, make sure that it's not your campaign's problem that you have low conversions. Don't make your product your problem. If it's from Clickbank's top products, then it's probably you are doing something wrong in Adwords, if you have a sale out of 100 clicks.
not really, well it all depends on how much you are spending for those clicks. if you spend $100 for 500 clicks (.20 each) and with 5 sales you earned $200...its was worth it, dont you thing -- a 100% ROI
If you want to increase your conversions, re-analyze your keywords and make sure to include the price in the ad.
So, your experience from PPC tell you that price in the add actually help you to increase conversion rate. Sound logically, since you have the price in the add, you will recive less clicks, but those who click the add with price, know that they will have to pay, and they are ready to buy actually. I will test this strategy in few of my adgroups.... Thanks for the advice bl4ckmaN^
good thread .. it was also my question too . guys would u share a Good link in DP that ppl like me ( newbies in adwords ) can find simple and Useful tips . i just confused by tons of threads Thanks
depends on the sales page. I am looking at 1/60 over the last month on one niche and much worse on another.
I am NOT saying that including the price in the ad always help to increase the conversions, but usually it does. I think it depends on the product, and the best way to find out is it good or bad for you, is to test.
I understand PPC visitors convert better than organic visitors which I assume is reflected in your figures?
