I have a couple of clickbank links on my site. Every day I send around 5-7 visitors to the site. However I have not made a sale even after 40-45 visitores. Am I going wrong somehwere? How many visitors you sent to clickback before making your first sale?
I think we'd need to know more, like what your site/niche is. Different campaigns will have different conversion rates and etc. Over 3 days I sent 140 visitors to a CJ site and received 0 sales... so don't feel too bad about not converting on 40-45. =)
it depends on niche, and give it some time. are you using bum marketing or adwords? if you r using bum marketing, then write quality articles with around 500words or more I know what you r filling, I was desperate to when I started affiliate marketing around 3 months ago... once you have your first sale, you will get a boost on your activity. it took me 18 days for my first sale and after that I am getting 3/4 sales a week. so dont give up yet, give it some time and good luck!
Exactly, it depends on the niche and the product you're promoting, Visitors are not the same as "hops", so to get a sale you should get at least 50+ Hops or even more, again, this depends, and if you send just 100 visitors to your site maybe you could get around 10 hops, so don't expect to make a sale from that amount of traffic. P.S Just an example
Just to ad to the other replies here, 40-45 visitors is not enough data to determine anything yet in my opinion. you might get 3 sales in the next 40. chuck
40-45 hops..... man, you need more traffic before you even think about making sales... I mean sure it happens in some niches, but with the current market for clickbank products, good luck... Try testing with more traffic, and make sure that you are getting targeted traffic, not just randoms...
In PPC I send clicks worth 10x the amount you get per sale. If you are running organic you will probably still need to send roughly as much traffic.
