What is the highest number of visitors you guys have got from stumbleupon or digg in one single day?

I have not been able to get very many visitors to my website from this.

Any good tips on how to achieve this?

Not many. I do not use digg or any kinda site related to that. The visitors you gain have no use and only cost bandwith. For my site (wich is a final fantasy forum just for fun) it will cost me more than I will gain. I tried it once tho and gained like 125 visitors or something.

If you use long tail keywords in the title you can get organic traffic from Google.

I have seen 5-10.000 a day with stumbleupon. With Digg people have posted here about 40.000 a day.
    Anyhow, volume is one thing.
These visitors do not mean too much, they come and go.

Stumble upon has sent me a few thousand before... But I've never been able to get a front-page digg, so I can't compare...

All the traffic depends on the story, comments and the number of diggs and stumbles. Stumbles doesn't gets much traffic but digg does. If you get on front page of digg ( Someone offers here for around 50$ ) then you'll receive great traffic. But it depends on the story, Comments, number of the diggs and the time. Stumbles are pretty good for proxies.

I have got a lots of traffic from StumbleUpon. I have noticed that you get more traffic if you have entertainment related website even with fewer stumbles.

The nice thing about stumble is you keep getting traffic for the article, unlike digg. digg, you might get on the front page and get a ton of vistors at one time, but stumbleupon keeps sending people over time.

For what I've seen posted it appears that stumple is better for traffic.

Has anyone seen stumbles in organic results like the diggs?

everyones stumble profile seems to have PR, although they have nofollow on external links. I dont see stumble pages in the SERPs like i do with digg.
