How many visitors do you get from all the Directories you submitted

I was just wondering, how many vistors do you get per-day from all the Directories you submitted too. And how many Directories is that?

 

Most of my sites I've submitted to anywhere from 300 - 1,000 or more directories. Add them all up, maybe 3 referrals per day.

 

99% of directories = 0 visitors a week

In recent weeks the figure is 3 or 4 visitors a week

www.umdum.com is the 1% for me.

 

Almost 0 visitor from all. Some time I have one single visitor from directory before my site get listed, probably they reviewing my site .

 

Not very much, just five to six visitors weekly sometimes even less than that.

 

Out of how many directories

 

I've no idea about it..Usually Google Analytics shows that about 1/5 of the visits come from "Other" ways...maybe they are from directories !

 

Does anyone have a shortlist of directories that are worth submitting to?

 

I don't know about the short list , but to answer the thread question, so far I got none.

I would say on average, out of several thousand directory links pointed at several dozen sites, I get 3-4 uniques/day on my good days.

I look at directories more like a necessary evil for SERPs.

 

No traffic from directories.
But it's still good to submit to get inboud links.

 

I probably get 1-2 direct visits per month - but I know that my work on doing directory submission gives me around 30% of my traffic due to the SERPS.

The directory submissions are the only way to "control" the anchor text in offsite links and as such, my careful use has ensured that my sites get a nice even coverage of the major keywords.

When I start slipping in the Serps for a keyword, I simply go out and do another 10-20 Directory submissions for my targetted keywords.

Yep, almost no direct traffic, but incredibly important none the less.

Majority of submissions don't do it for the traffic. It is to get their keyword ranking up on the SE for real traffic. Inbound links help a lot.

 

Yes I know that, but still when you have submitted to 100s of directories, your bound to get some traffic from it.
Like me I have submitted to maybe 400 directories and I get 3-4 visitors per-day from it. Just wanted to know what others have got.

 

7-8 per day (among 240 uniques per day(avg)).
2 from infovilesilencer.
1 from directorycrtic.
2 from addurl.nu.
and 3 to 4 from the rest(from more or less 400 directories).
