hi...all.... i have been testing all of the affiliate program on my site as a publisher. But no any income. is this due to very few number of visitors. so my question is that , How many visitors are required to earn from any type of affiliate network per day ? is there anybody being successful in affiliate programs ? waiting for answers.
Yea,its depending on visitor/sales ratio. If you have a good targeted traffic, than you can have 1 sale/100 visitors ,but its all depending on the quality of your traffic.
Good targeted traffic refers to the actual demographic of your user in relation to what you're selling. Let's say you're promoting and selling Diablo 3 game guides. If you have visitors coming to your site that don't play and aren't interested in computer games, they're not going to purchase your product. If people are coming to your site from Diablo or MMO sites or searching for information specifically on guides for it, then your chances of sale will increase and require less visitors.
As others have mentioned, the success of using an affiliate program will depend on a variety of factors -- most importantly traffic quantity and quality. To drive the most targeted traffic (which will lead to better conversions and higher commissions), it's extremely important to do some good keyword research. You want to target your website to an audience that will actually be interested in the products you're selling / promoting. To do this, you need to target keywords that are the most related to your product.
