    Hi,

I know there is a huge market for people using blackhat tools and techniques for promoting your sites/services. What have you used if any ? what sort of results have you gotten ?

I think thousands of people use Black hat or automated methods to get their site rank. but most of them don't really exist for a long time. just for a few month or may be a year. i don't think its better for a professional blogger.
so i suggest you not to think about these processes.
    thanks

Well Blackhat does have it's own shades of grey. Not all methods get you "blacklisted" by Google if done in moderation. I mean automation is basically something you would do manually anyway. Now if you scale it up and start spamming and get too robotic then it's bad (and some go overboard) but as long as you are responsible and just use it reasonably it's no harm to check out some methods. If it feels to spammy don't do it.

the reason I ask is I see people willing to spends hundred's of $$s on these blackhat software and scripts (clickjacking script is $1000, xrumer is $600, so on)
Surely something must be working for them to justify spending that much money on something that might get you banned.
