    But of late i have removed them as the ctr drops and so do your earnings

    No, I dont filter URLs that have low pay per click. I just add URLs wich I dont like by myself :)

    I think Google should increase no of urls to about 500 as only low paying ads are always displayed

    mine are maximum 200 url, to avoid mfa and low bid ads. And the result is positive. I use adsblacklist.com

    i did blocked some URLs , but then ecpm falled drastically

    now it is blank again

    I use since years
    zero filter
    = full competition in bidding
    = high eCPM
    = :) xxxx$ by the end of each months

    any filter on a high competition market reduces competition and thus number of bidding advertisers for the limited ad slots avaivable on a site.
