Hi, I use joomla also. I used the web tools with my own Google Account. You can get a google sitemap verification metatag and add it to your template. Then get Google to verify you site. I use it quite a bit to see how google crawls my sites and if there are any errors.

    Hope that helps,

    BJ

Just wait and google will index the other urls.
As for " how many url in one sitemap" - Google allows no more than 50,000 URLs per file.

You may not get all of your urls indexed by Google. This is normal with them.
Inner linking your pages helps a lot in getting them indexed.
Also linking to pages in your site from other sites help.

Actually, the official rule is "less than 50,000 URLs and less than 10MB in size". I doubt google and other search engines care (unless you go real overboard) but that's what the sitemap protocol says:

    http://www.sitemaps.org/protocol.php

Ofcourse, unless you have really long URLs, it probably won't reach 10MB even with 50,000 URLs.

You also just create/split-into multiple sitemap files and combine them with a sitemap index file.
