    Simple question: how many Twitter followers do you have?

    If possible, please tell us what your account type is? personal, business, organiation etc.?

    And last, how long did it take you to get this many users?




    For myself: I have about 500 users, and have had a Twitter account for about 2.5 years, and it is for the websites I run as well as for some personal tweeting.

    I have 2,438 followers.. I tweet about mostly personal stuff and jokes and stuff like that.. I got on twitter around august on 2010

    Getting on for 4k followers. Took about six months of no effort. The big thing for me was turning on the auto follow back feature. I just seeded it by spending a couple of days following a couple of hundred people, then their followers seemed to find me and we all had one big auto follow party.

    How useful these followers are is another matter completley. I'm not convinced about Twitter, not at all. I've tracked incoming traffic from the site and found it to be minimal.

    [Hmm. Note to self: maybe if I was more interesting when I tweeted...?]
