    Um... that the 2 have nothing to do with each other and that you have no idea what every DP member has as twitter followers, only the few that have responded to this thread.

    It also says that no one really gives a crap about Twitter anymore for SEO and marketing. It's a bust. Over. Completely saturated with spam.

    Twitter numbers don't mean much, you should be concentrating on how many retweets you get. Retweets are a huge popularity contest and many surfers rely on them to get their latest news. Those visitors you know are already interested in the topic of your website. It is more of a defined following.

    We have 380 followers at the moment, after about 1 year using Twitter.

    Main reason: Our customers use Twitter. And it is a good place to promote products and inform about our products' updates.
