how many titles can i have in a webpage ?

    will there be any problems for a webpage from search engines, if i am using title and meta tags twice in a single webpage ?

    Why would you want to do this?

    I am sure they will just ignore one of them, the same way your browser will ignore one of the title tag's.

    I'm also wondering. What do you profit by using the title tag twice? It looks just like a waste of bandwith and diskspace (ok, a few bytes but still :)) to me.

    Yeah, that seems like a bad idea. Anyone who notices it would think it is spammy or careless coding.

    I have also seen so many website using two titles in web page. I think, these is carelessness or playing with codes.

    One is enough. So, why need two?

    Should add that there are some packages that will add Metas for you, bu not at the top, then when you add your own it is possible to not see those below the CSS javascript stuff etc in the head. I have seen many pages where this has happened.

    Ya I agree with everybody here, there's no reason at all to have 2 title tags.. You have any reason for doing so?
