I was actually going to go there today as I went for my daily ride, but a SWAT van waved me off. Apparently this is why: http://www.sentinelsource.com/news/...cle_76deeb82-4f01-5855-89f4-356674fe77f6.html First time I got to see the new bearcat up close though... they had it parked in McDonalds lot. Ended up saying screw it, and biked to Local Burger instead. (huh, xenforo blocks their URL complaining about the status code?) www dot localkeene dot com You want a GOOD burger... love their fries too; you can still tell they were made from potato unlike most places; and you can get them made with sweet potatoes.
Interesting question though I wasn't able to count how many times I've been to McDonald's last month, 5 maybe??
Holy cow, what a way to be denied a burger! Although if the food police had their way, that SWAT team would be positioned there permanently. I will have to drive up from RI to try Local Burger sometime. Thanks for the tip.
They also have a location in noho (their first store, keene is their second) -- from your direction knocks over 50 miles off the trip. www dot localnorthampton dot com I'm kinda hoping they take off with more locations -- good product, supports local farmers... and while a bit on the granola side, it's not a total "crunch me". It also just feels more like "real food".
That's funny, I am originally from Western MA (Ludlow) and I used to party as a teenager in the Amherst/Northhampton area (UMass friends, etc.) Will definitely check it out when I am in the area. Thanks.
I never eat MD, its just discusting in my eyes. Everyone whos saying a few times a month should watch "Super Size Me".
Maybe once a year. I don't understand how anyone can regularly eat that type of stuff. It's a nice treat once in a blue moon, but it does something fierce to your gut afterwards.
I rarely chose to go to Mcdonalds unless when i am traveling and i cannot get used to the local food . only at that time it becomes my choice. btw u can still choose some low calorie food when u go to Mcdonalds, so ur weight can increase less .^-^
t totally agree. u know this part a lot. its not really matter what kinda things u eat but how much u eat.
During my undergrad, the city I lived in didn't have a McDs so I never went except in the last one week because they had just opened. Here, we have a McDs in EVERY alternate street, so I've been there once or twice.
i used to go there a lot, but the last time i went i had a bad experience to say the least. I have not been there recently.
yes i got weight ,,i used to go every second day,,to buy my lunch but now only once a month,,,sorry MC
Not in Africa. South Africa maybe but in my country, it is known by those who have traveled to Europe and US and from movies....seriously.
